My journey began when I earned a teaching degree during college.  I initially chose a different career path, inspired by my enjoyment of hands-on work with the campus grounds crew. I gained valuable experience working for Croat Construction in St. Cloud, where I built residential homes and honed my skills in framing, roofing, siding, installing windows and doors, and pouring concrete footings.

Later, I joined ProBuild, where I specialized in siding homes and further developed my expertise in installing windows, doors, and gutters. After more than a decade of physically demanding work, I transitioned to a desk job at Granite-Tops as a Commercial Project Manager, overseeing projects from estimation to completion for granite countertops.

Seeking a new direction, I took on a position as a paraprofessional at Spectrum High School to explore a return to teaching. This decision marked the start of my next chapter. Since 2015, I’ve been teaching Social Studies at Spectrum High School, where I strive to inspire students both in the classroom and as a football coach.

Over the years, my passion for building, fixing, and improving homes never went away. What began as helping friends, family, and referrals outside of my teaching career steadily grew into something more. Project by project, Fixit Buildit Loveit was built on trust, craftsmanship, and relationships.

Recently, I made the decision to step away from full-time teaching and dedicate myself fully to this business. Today, Fixit Buildit Loveit is my full-time focus, allowing me to bring the same discipline, work ethic, and attention to detail into every project I take on.

While I’ve transitioned out of the classroom, I’m still proud to remain connected to the community through coaching football. Coaching continues to be an important part of my life and reflects the values I carry into my work—teamwork, accountability, and doing things the right way.

As the business has grown, so have the services I offer. In addition to hands-on work, I now provide general contracting services, managing projects from start to finish and coordinating the right people to ensure quality results. Whether it’s a repair, renovation, or larger build, I take pride in making the process smooth, transparent, and done right.
