My journey began when I earned a teaching degree during college. I initially chose a different career path, inspired by my enjoyment of hands-on work with the campus grounds crew. I gained valuable experience working for Croat Construction in St. Cloud, where I built residential homes and honed my skills in framing, roofing, siding, installing windows and doors, and pouring concrete footings.
Later, I joined ProBuild, where I specialized in siding homes and further developed my expertise in installing windows, doors, and gutters. After more than a decade of physically demanding work, I transitioned to a desk job at Granite-Tops as a Commercial Project Manager, overseeing projects from estimation to completion for granite countertops.
Seeking a new direction, I took on a position as a paraprofessional at Spectrum High School to explore a return to teaching. This decision marked the start of my next chapter. Since 2015, I’ve been teaching Social Studies at Spectrum High School, where I strive to inspire students both in the classroom and as a football coach.
Now that my sons have grown and moved out, I’m excited to use my summers and school breaks to help others with my building expertise. Whether it’s a small repair or a larger project, I’m ready to bring my skills and dedication to your handyman needs.
I’m licensed and insured. License number BC808618. I can provide certificates of insurance upon request.
